Laser results review

Once the healing is over, a laser treatment or a wrinkle injection leaves you with one fair test in a Stamford mirror: does this match what you were told to expect?
A finished result answers to three records. The first is the plan you agreed to, in the provider's own words. The second is a photo of your skin from before the treatment. The third is the healing time the provider gave you at the start.
For laser resurfacing, DermNet's plain clinical overview of laser resurfacing describes the procedure in terms you can hold the plan against. For wrinkle injections, a plastic surgery society's page on botulinum toxin gives a professional body's account of the same treatment.
Checking the result against the record
Set the before photo beside the mirror and read the plan again. Does the treated area match the planned one? Did the healing run to the time you were given? Is anything there that nobody mentioned?
A dermatology academy publishes questions to ask when considering a cosmetic treatment, and its wider guidance on cosmetic safety applies to any treatment, laser or not. Both work as checklists to reread once the result has settled.
Whether a result is right for your own skin is a call for a licensed provider who has examined you. Hand that provider the before photo, the written plan and the healing time you were given. See Beyond Beauty's medical aesthetics practice does these examinations.
Hold the result up to the record, not to your memory of the promise.
